The idea is simple: invite friends over for tea, coffee, and cake in exchange for a donation to Crossroads Care. Twickenham residents Rachel Smith and her husband, Crossroads patron Sir Vince Cable, (pictured here) hosted the first Crossroads Cake and Cuppa event last year, which was a huge success.

This year, two people — including a long-term volunteer with the charity, 75-year-old Remo Grasso, — are running the London Marathon for Crossroads on 27th April.
